Articulate Storyline Update 1 is now available! It includes a new translation feature, Tin Can API support, enhanced HTML5 output, and more.

Translate Courses with Ease

It’s now simple to localize your content for learners anywhere. With Articulate Storyline Update 1, you can export all text in your course—including text on slides, notes, and the player—to Microsoft Word or XML format for translation, then import edited text back into your course with formatting preserved. It’s a snap. You can even use the feature to simplify reviews by legal departments and subject matter experts.

Track Learners on iPads

With Storyline Update 1, you can track and manage mobile learners who view courses using the Articulate Mobile Player app on iPad. Any learning management system (LMS) with Tin Can API support, including Articulate Online, can now track and report on the activity of these learners even if they move midcourse between a desktop, laptop, and iPad.

Trigger Navigation Buttons

Just like you already could with the next button, Articulate Storyline Update 1 lets you add triggers to the previous button to customize feedback, navigation, and more.

Enhanced HTML5 Output

You can now add glossary and notes tabs to your HTML5 output—which also supports JavaScript triggers and custom player text labels.

Great update. I just tried out the translation feature and it works flawlessly. Better than any other product we’ve ever tried. We regularly develop courses in 12 languages and this will be a huge time saver.
