Kineo Engage Review & Samples

kineo_logo_site.gif Kineo’s newsletter went out last week, and with it was a great review of Engage, which includes a few sample interactions the consultancy created to highlight what you can do in just minutes with the tool.

“Engage is incredibly easy to use. We would challenge anyone not to be able to produce a nice learning interaction in 30 minutes.

Since you already know some of the creative ways to use the Timeline interaction, it should come as no surprise that one of Kineo’s sample interactions leverages the Timeline for a Short Module on Handling Bad News.

That is a great idea for using the timeline interaction. We have discussed some similar uses. The only weakness here is that it might be easy to misunderstand and believe that all of the reactions shown are part of a process. This would especially be the case if your learners become accustomed to seeing this interaction applied to linear concepts.

We’re having great fun with Engage. It takes the time out of development, so we can focus on the interaction.

Here’s an interaction we developed for our Web Conferencing Facilitation class.
