Are there going to be any other conferances closer to Colorado?

So,the title of the conference says “regional”. Can I assume that this may be a traveling show that may pop up in other regions….say, the Southeast or more specifically, Atlanta?

Can one attend this conference online?

Shirley Solano  |  Posted at 02:08 pm on August 12th, 2008 |  #

I expect to have my software installed soon. However I’ve never used the product. Would this conference be beneficial for me?

Bill Tierney  |  Posted at 09:03 am on August 13th, 2008 |  #

(Duhhhh) There’s an ‘Articulate Regional User Group’ around here (19390 and/or 19064)?!

AlisonTheIDWannabe  |  Posted at 11:46 am on August 13th, 2008 |  #

Hi Ken & Todd- We do expect to host other Regional Articulate User Conferences. As we confirm those, I’ll update my blog and the Articulate Calendar. You may want to subscribe to the Google Calendar version of the Articulate Calendar to ensure you don’t miss out on any Articulate events.

As a way to feature our customers and to keep our costs (and associated conference fees) to a minimum, we’re asking that if any of our customers would like to host the conference, that you drop us a line — choose User Group in the “Interested In” field.

Shirley- Good question, but sorry, there are currently no plans to offer an online version of this conference.

Bill- Yes, I do think the conference would be of great benefit to you.

I have been using Articulate for 4 months to create E Learning courses, do you think this conference would be beneficial for me?

Whitney  |  Posted at 12:03 pm on August 13th, 2008 |  #

Hi Whitney- Yes, most definitely!

Hi Gabe,

I’m not able to make it to Philly but will probaby be able at DevLearn right here in San Jose in November. Any articulate sessions happening there (I didn’t see any on the calendar but I could have overlooked something).

Thanks,
Cyndi

Cyndi  |  Posted at 07:04 pm on August 14th, 2008 |  #

Hi Cyndi- We’ll be at DevLearn, yes. Glad you can make it there! Tom will be participating in one or two sessions there, I believe.

gabe  |  Posted at 02:45 pm on August 15th, 2008 |  #

Hi Gabe,

Our small, under-funded training team is thinking about sending someone down for this (we can only send one), but who do you think would benefit more: an Articulate developer who’s been at it for a couple years, or someone with only a couple month’s experience with Presenter and Engage?

Minh Nguyen  |  Posted at 10:06 am on August 19th, 2008 |  #

Hi Gabe — Any plans to have a regional Articulate training or user group meeting in the Dallas area?

Dana Freeman  |  Posted at 12:12 pm on August 19th, 2008 |  #

Hi Minh- Good question. I think there will be plenty of material for either person, but I’ll also ask Tom to follow-up with you in case he may have other thoughts.

Dana- We do hope to offer conferences in other areas, though nothing is currently planned in Dallas. For more, please see my above comment (addressed to Ken & Todd).

Do you have any plans of hosting this in Dubai?
Would you have a recorded version of the conference for us to download?

Ali Zaheer  |  Posted at 02:13 am on August 20th, 2008 |  #

Hi Ali- There’s currently nothing scheduled for Dubai, but please see my comments above on scheduling conferences in other locations.

There won’t be a recorded session, but Tom may recap some of the conference themes on his blog afterward.

Sounds like a good conference.

doofdaddy  |  Posted at 03:44 pm on August 28th, 2008 |  #

I just registered for the conference and I tried to make my room reservations but the group rate expired yesterday. Can you recommend other hotels with the same rate? I’m working with a small budget.

Cathy Green  |  Posted at 10:07 am on September 2nd, 2008 |  #

Cathy, I’m with you — I called today concerning reservations with the hotel, and the prices were much higher. Any other places we could reserve rooms with a lower rate that aren’t too far?

Jen Wright  |  Posted at 01:53 pm on September 2nd, 2008 |  #

Hi Jen & Cathy-

Glad you can join us!

We’re going to see if we can secure some additional rooms at the special conference rate for you.

Any future conference in Europe? Any user group in Spain?

Thanks.

Pedro  |  Posted at 05:00 am on September 8th, 2008 |  #

Were you able to secure any additional rooms at the special conference rate? I will be attending and the cost was a little high?

Hi Peggie- We did, but they went fast. Sorry about that.
