Converting Non-Flash Movies to SWF

Articulate Presenter is pretty darn powerful, but, admittedly, it can’t do it all.
It’s the clear choice for converting your PowerPoint presentations to Flash and for creating compelling e-learning courses. Heck, you can even insert existing Flash movies into your presentation using Articulate -> Insert Flash Movie. You can even embed other types of (non-Flash) movies as Web Objects and insert into your presentation (more here).
But what if you want optimal performance and cross-platform compatibility by first converting your existing QuickTime or Windows Media Player movies to Flash and then inserting into your Articulate Presenter presentation with even greater ease?
My recommendation is that you add Sorenson Squeeze for Macromedia Flash MX to your suite of tools. With it, you’ll be able to convert not just your QuickTime and WMV movies to Flash, but all these other input formats as well:
- AAC
- AIF/AIFF
- AVI
- DV
- MOV
- MP3
- MPEG-1
- MPEG-2
- MPEG-4
- WAV
- WMA
- WMV

Hi, I have converted short avi clips into swf files to insert to Articulate presentations. I have converted files to a frame rate of 30 fps. When viewing slides in PowerPoint the swf files loop continuously and play smoothly – but when published to Articulate, the swf files do not loop smoothly: the “jerk” at the end of the loop before replaying and this is very distracting. Please advise???
