One of the great things about our products is that once prospects see what they can do, they practically sell themselves. Even cooler than that is when our customers eagerly evangelize our products for us.

At this week’s ASTD International Exposition in Atlanta, we were arguably the talk of the show, among attendees and fellow vendors alike. Alongside a constantly packed crowd of people who’d heard the buzz about Articulate in conference sessions was a stream of current customers who wanted to meet us, give us praise, and tell anyone who would listen how amazing our products are and how Articulate has changed the way they create elearning content.

Below is a series of 3 video testimonials I recorded at our booth at ASTD on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 5 and 6, 2007. The testimonials were completely unscripted and were provided by customers without monetary or other incentive — aside from wanting others to know how much our products rock.

By the way, here’s how I created the above video collage:

1. Record video clip with digital camera.
2. Download videos from camera & convert to Flash with Sorenson Squeeze.
3. Create a new Articulate Engage interaction & insert Flash movies.
4. Publish to Flash & customize player size to embed in blog.

I really enjoyed this year’s conference and meeting so many of you — customers and future customers alike. There’s really something about that human, in-person element that goes beyond email, blog entries, community forums, and support cases. Time flies when you’re having fun, and the past week really flew by.

Showing off our products to you, talking with you about how you’re using our tools, helping you come up with creative work-arounds for resolving issues, and generally just hearing about how enthusiastic so many of you are about our software is truly a great feeling. And I can’t wait to do it again next time.
