Introducing Storyline

We’ve launched two amazing new products: Articulate Storyline and Articulate Mobile Player.

Hailed by industry luminaries such as former Adobe evangelist R.J. Jacquez as “game-changing,” Articulate Storyline is the first e-learning authoring software that’s simple enough for beginners and powerful enough for experts. So, as your skills grow, Storyline grows with you. Storyline makes it easier than ever to build interactivity, create software simulations, and assess learners any way you want. Check out these great examples of Storyline content to get an idea of what’s possible.

Once your course is done, you can publish content with a single click to multiple formats so learners can view it on their iPads, desktops, Android devices, and more. If you want learners to have the best possible viewing experience on the iPad, you simply publish your courses to Articulate Mobile Player. It’s a free iPad app that beautifully displays content created in Storyline. Articulate Mobile Player includes full-screen playback and gesture support, so learners simply tap, swipe, and pinch to interact with multimedia content, including full-motion video and software simulations.

Wow! Any chance that current Articulate Presenter users can upgrade at a discount?

Thanks for your enthusiasm, Jim. Current Studio customers qualify for a free Character Bundle through June 30.

Storyline is a totally separate product from Studio / Presenter, though, so no upgrade pricing is available, but you can purchase a new Storyline license in our store.

This is great. The industry has needed a good alternative to Camtasia for a long time. I’m curious how it compares, or perhaps it is intended for a different market? We use Camtasia for instructional videos, software demos, etc.. Can this product be used for the same purpose or is it meant for something else? I’m going to get my free trial now and see how this works.

@Isaac:Yes, you can certainly use Storyline for creating software simulations – and a whole lot more. Take a look at all the features and download a free trial to see what you think.
