I’m having déjà vu. Almost exactly 1 year ago, I posted this blog entry, declaring that we had been named a finalist in the 2007 American Business Awards for Most Innovative Company, “coming on the heels of this month’s Best Support Site recognition.”

Guess what?

Yup, the same thing happened again this year. I’m proud to say that along with our Ten Best Web Support Sites of 2008 repeat win, we’ve earned the following recognition this year:

• American Business Awards 2008 Finalist: Most Innovative Company - Up to 100 Employees (2nd consecutive year!)

  

• American Business Awards 2008 Finalist: Best Blog (Tom’s Rapid E-Learning Blog on the heels of being named a CODiE finalist)

  

From the press release about the 2008 American Business Awards, also known as the Stevies:

Hailed as “the business world’s version of the Oscars” (New York Post , April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business.

More than 2,600 entries were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Most Innovative Company, Best Executive, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and Best New Product or Service.

Congrats to Tom! Being named a finalist in two major awards competitions in a blog’s first year of existence is no small feat. And congrats to my Articulate colleagues on yet another honor to add to our impressive collection.

Finally, congrats to Janice and our friends at VerticalResponse, whose VR Marketing Blog was also named a finalist (we’ve been a VR customer for years and count on them for reliable email delivery to our customers).
