As registered users of Articulate Presenter already know, there’s more to activating your software than meets the eye. After inputting your serial number, you’ll need to send your activation to our server before your software will be fully registered.

There are two methods for activating Articulate Presenter:

1. Automatic registration.
2. Manual registration.

The automatic registration is, of course, the suggested method, but doesn’t always work for everyone all the time. In some rare cases, your firewall software (for example, ZoneAlarm) must be temporarily disabled in order for Articulate Presenter to communicate with the activation server.

In certain circumstances, however, the automatic method may not ever work for you (say, for example, if your company’s IT department has regulations stiffer than Donald Trump’s hair). In this case, you will need to do the manual activation.

To proceed with a manual activation, please do exactly the following:

1. Click Articulate -> About -> Register.
2. Enter your serial number.
3. Select Manual.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Launch.
6. Copy the long code in the text box on the Web site (should be about 6 lines).
7. Go back to PowerPoint.
8. Click Next.
9. Paste the code you just copied.
10. Click Done.
11. Click OK.
12. Click OK.
13. Restart PowerPoint.

Voila! Your copy of Articulate Presenter should now be legit.
